L.A.Noire

L.A.Noire

L.A.Noire is a video game developed by Rockstar Games. It is a real time crime video game which takes places in 1947 in Los Angeles and is scheduled to be released in early May.

The game draws heavily from both the plot and aesthetic elements of film noire, stylistic films made popular in the 1940s and 1950s. The game uses a distinctive colouring-style, but in homage to film noir it includes the option to play the game in black-and-whiteThe game engages in taking position as a Los Angeles Police Department detective and solving real time cases across various crime desks.

The game blends investigative elements such as mystery and crime solving, with fast-paced action sequences, including on-foot and car chases, hand-to-hand combat, interrogations and gunfights. The player can travel on foot, as well as in various vehicles. When the player is interrogating suspects and witnesses, the player must listen to the story that he or she gives. When the player is interrogating suspects and witnesses, the player must listen to the story that he or she gives. The player will be given the option to either believe them, doubt them or accuse them of lying.

Interrogate the suspect!

When searching an area for clues to the crime, in some cases, players can also find newspapers. Besides reading the story, the newspapers give access to a short cinematic that covers a part of the game's overarching plot.

Find the clues to find out what had happen to the victim and also most importantly, there's a law breaker on the loose!

Motion capture is used to create the facial expression of real actors. Besides that, Global illumination is done by placing 32 cameras surrounding the actor.

Hobbies and Interest Part 2

Hey, welcome back!!
Last post!!! I'm so jumping right now... OK back to story.

My third hobby or interest is swimming. I love the feeling when I'm surrounded with water. (surely not drowning) Deep pools is the best!!! I only swim in pools not beaches. i feel its so dirty ( EEwwwww) as the color of the water is so murky. Once, I sat at the side of the beach where the waves are low.... but then suddenly without realizing a hugh wave came. I was so soaking wet with sands in my clothes and I mean on my skin. Euurrgghh, its so uncomfortable. Oh yea, I don't know if the swimming pool at Taylors is open yet, but if it does.... I CAN'T WAIT. Swimming is a must need survival thing for me, without swimming...........i can't say. I'll go swimming with my friends in a nearby condominium. (too bad i don't have a pool at home.... I wish I had one) None of of live there, but for the sake of swimming we are willing to go there and swim "unauthorized". We've never been caught before by the guards or residents before and hopefully we will NEVER be caught in the future. I'll swim for 3 hours or more and when i come out of the pool... Wooaahh, my skin looks so haggard.
ummmm........ water from the pool

The next Hobby or interest of mine is just by being in the bus. I'll take the U70 Rapid KL bus to go to my destinations (U70 is the best!!!) but i hate waiting for the bus as it takes 30 minutes or more to get the bus sometimes. There's something about the buses, the people i guess. I enjoy being in the bus seeing different kinds of people whether old folks, friendly people, rude people but certainly not FLASHERS!!! eeewewwwww. (It was an old guy). Some of the people on board the bus will sometimes randomly talk to each other about some stuff and its fun for me.

Songs like electro pop or rock is my all time favorites. I love the songs by Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, Ke$ha and Green Day. Lady Gaga is my favorite of all! Her songs or lyrics are just so amazing and awesome. I hear Telephone, Poker Face, Alejandro, bad romance and monster everyday. I never get tired of it. She's going to release her third album next year. Note to self.... I HAVE TO GET IT!! I really hope she comes here, to Malaysia to preform but that is never going to happen because of her dressing. (naked) =(

Well, that is the end of my blog and this assignment!!!

Hobbies and Interest part 1

Hayiooo....exam week. I did badly. =( but  finally!!! The last blog this assignment. I'm so glad!!! Last topic of all, hobbies and interest.

Swimming, being in the bus, reading comics. listening musics and playing computer games are my most favorite hobbies and interests.

I really love comedy comic books. It makes me feel so relaxed. I laugh too, but not in public of course or I may get many eyes looking at me. Gempak Starz is the my favorite book publisher. I love their books so much!!
Gempak Starz

I also read Detective Conan. its so interesting trying to find out who is the suspect. The thing that bugs me the most about this Detective Conan series book is that, its never ending!! I just keep buying the new ones that come out in stores. I wanna know the ending already!! Haizzzz..Well  comics are the only books that I read. Novels?? EEuuurggghhh... they totally suck for me. It just put me me sleep. Seriously. I still remember reading the Harry potter book once. (can't remember which series) WAaaww.... it took me two whole months to finish just half the book!! No kidding. I need something with pictures, not just with words. I rather watch the Harry Potter movie than  reading the book. Its so scary seeing an extremely thick book filled with words. Goosebumps.

I also love playing computer games, but all that came to an end last year when my computer graphic card went BOOM!! I was so devastated, heartbroken . It was all my brother's fault!! He won't even off the computer when it rains. (major heavy rain with lighting). OK put that aside. My favorite games are (just to name a few)  Oblivion, Call of Duty, Assassin.Creed and Crisis.( I'M NOT A GEEK). Oblivion is a role playing game, where you are able to create your own character, like how they look, their body size either big or small, lip size, head size ,their clothes or whatever and so on. Call of Duty is perhaps the most noisiest game ever for me. It cool though because the whole game makes you feel like you are in it.

My school life 2

My buddies here are great. They are so filled with madness in them. Everyday is pure fun(craziness)  with them

                                           MY AWESOME BUDDIES

There's one annoying guy in my class that just drives me mad everyday (luckily he's not reading this blog, or else... I think he might just stabbed me right now). He's been in the same class with me for 4 years!!! I've hardly spoken to him since I hate him so much. I've only spoken harsh words towards him when he just pisses me off. He has a very weird hair style, a box cut. His hair is a perfect box shape!!! If you were to touch his hair, OUCH... it seriously hurts, even though he doesn't put on any hair gel (His hair is so "dusty" too). His hair seriously  bugs me a lot. It's like if his hair was wet, it will just remain the way it is.....dry with it's box shape.

Me and my friends call him "dappa" which is in Tamil lauguage which means square.  He is so noisy, offensive and just plain ANNOYING!!! He makes jokes which are so extremely lame!! He makes fun of people too, and I mean the bad type of poking fun. There were several times that me and my friends did our "revenge" back to him.

Once, we put glue plus water on his chair (I was so sure he would sit on it as he pays less attention to his surroundings). Unfortunately, when nobody was watching, he switched his chair with his buddy's chair. PURE EVIL!!!!! Nobody saw it except me and my friend, but luckily his friend didn't sit on it. He ended up cleaning the chair with tissues and paper. (I felt so bad). He didn't know that "dappa" switched the chair. So this plan failed (I'll not give up just yet).

The second plan. I wasn't the master mind behind this second plan. It's my friend's, so I tagged along with him. This time, during recess we sneaked into our class (we were't allowed to go into our classrooms during recess). So we wrote some stuff on his table, chair and also books with a permanent marker. We also put some rubbish into his desk and some popcorn (just for fun). Then when he came back to class, he was in a shocked!! LOL!! I still remember his face expression. He was shouting and that really spoiled his day. That sure makes me feel good. Finally!!

I sure miss my school, teachers and schoolmates. I do hope we will meet again. My memories. =)
Thanks for reading ^^

My school life

My school life. Wow... where do I start. Well, first of all I really missed my school, teachers and also my schoolmates though I do meet them up sometimes. Some of them just disappeared (That's life).  Sekolah Menangah Kebangsaan Bandar Puching Jaya (A), that's my school's name.
The entrance of my school

I spent 5 years in that school. It's like my second home. I sleep, hangout and eat there. Besides my house is so near my school. Classes starts at 7.30 morning. The teachers are cool. Well not all, there is some cranky ones, rude ones and slutty minded ones.
Studies here are much easier than college as there are no assignments at all. Even after the school is over I will stay back in school for more than two hours doing some stuff (certainly not studying).

The syllabus is all about reading, understanding and my most hated of them all, COUNTING!!  I use the calculator for almost every simple calculation (I just hate to use my brain with counting numbers) Urghhh, I really hate math and accounting. I totally suck at it. To be honest, I usually get the lowest for my maths and accounting exam in my class. No matter how hard I try to pass my maths and accounting, I just fail every time (so sad =( ). Maths and me just can't seem to click at all. It's impossible!!

In 5 years I haven't gotten an A or a B or even a C for my maths subject. My highest marks for my maths subject was 45% (that's the truth, I'm not exaggerating). When I got that mark which is a D, I was super happy. I felt that finally I'm achieving something in life. Unfortunately, that didn't last long. After that onwards my maths grade started falling from D to E. I've even gotten 11% marks!! Not to mention, my parents were all so mad with me. They will always nag at me everyday. So I ended up going for some extra class during the night, which didn't give me ant benefit at all. My grades for maths and accounting just stayed the same..... E.

Every time during maths and accounting class, I'll be in my own world. I'll either be doodling, dreaming or passing notes around to my friends (that's what I do till today if I'm so board). I really like my Moral teacher the most. She is the bomb!!! She is like a mother to me. She is willing to help me and the others even if she is so busy (I really appreciate her). Words cant even describe how good she is!!!! She is simply the best in the world!!!!!
During some celebration

Events in the school is just awesome. The curricular activities are so fun (even though I rarely attend it)

Tips on hair care part 2

Hey guys! I'll talk about part 2 of hair care over here. Hope you enjoy reading this =) . As you know , the basic oil , cleanse , condition and UV protection step is important in obtaining strong hair and increasing it's vitality . Each strand of our hair is made up of protein fibers , just like our muscles which is made up of muscle cells . We need certain amino acids to replace the protein loss from our hair . Some of these amino acids exist naturally in our body while others can be obtained from animal fat or plant fat and Vitamin E sources . An example of amino acid proteins deprived from animal fats are fish oils . Taking fish oil supplements not only maintains a healthy heart and preserves a healthy nervous system but it also does wonders to your hair and skin . It functions to add luster and shine to the hair . Examples of plant fat which assists in healthy hair growth are soya oils , sunflower oils and cranola oil . Examples of Vitamin E sources are green vegetables , milk , eggs , butter , palm oil and wheat . Vitamin E sources need to be taken in fair amounts to prevent hair lost . Hair lost is the No 1 feared hair problem in middle age . Therefore , taking fair amounts of proteins and vitamins can assist in preventing premature hair loss .
Eat fruits for a healthy hair

We can't ever deny that taking a fairly balanced diet contributes to healthy hair ! Besides  a balanced diet , we need to exercise and sweat it out ! Exercising not only helps maintain a healthy body , but it also helps in melanin production and prevent abnormal growth of hair . When we do not sweat , blood circulation on the head does not take place resulting to less melanin production and abnormal growth of hair as toxic wastes from the body are not excreted out , they clump up and block the hair follicles thus making the hair courser , rough and lack luster.

Moreover ,  we can use certain natural herbal oils to maintain hairs vitality . The very affordable coconut oil is a good hair tonic when used on hair . Apply coconut oil twice a week at night and sleep in with it . In a few weeks time , you can obtain healthy , shiny and luxurious hair . If you suffer from premature graying of hair , fear not as there is still hope !! As heard from my dear granny , Indian Gooseberry , also known as Amla , is used by many Indian women to prevent premature graying and obtain dark , strong hair . Indian Gooseberry combined with coconut oil , boiled , forms a nice paste to apply to the hair resulting to black shiny hair . Not only does Indian Gooseberries help prevent premature graying , it also helps prevents hair loss . It's double action properties are most amusing to many Indian women . Therefore , it has been used for centuries to obtain healthy hair !

Tips on hair care part 1

Hi again ! This time , i would like to share a little i know about hair care . Hair is like the crowning glory of all women (well , it is for me of course) and to men . Hair is obviously everyones  pride .Hair is one of life's important assets for both men and women . The hair , also known as the royal crown of the head , plays a big role in our lives . Without no doubt , hair is important for self-esteem and confidence. In this new era of globalization without limitations , pollutants are rapidly clumping up in the air ! This phenomena is dangerous not only for our health , but also our hair.
Hairs of the world

In hot countries like Malaysia , our hair is more prone to dryness and damage when in contact with strong UV rays and air pollutants . Hair dryness can be prevented by oiling the hair at least once a week to add luster and moisturize the hair . Dryness of hair results to dull colored hair . We can also prevent our hair from pollutants by covering our hair with a scarf (but surely most of us think that isn't the best choice) , but don't lose hope just yet ! We can opt to use leave-on hair creams to block our hair from harmful UV rays . This way , our hair would be less brittle due to the harmful effects of hair dryness .

Even though we Asians live in hot countries , believe it or not , our hair has the most density which is helpful in retaining moisture of hair thus preventing severe moisture loss from hair ! There are three types of hair groups which are Asian , Caucasian and African . Most Asians have black to brown hair . Ever wondered why Caucasians rarely have jet black hair like us ? It's because their hair lack melanin production . Melanin pigments in the hair are responsible in determining the color of our hair . As a result , the more the melanin production in a follicle , the darker the color of our hair . Hairs grow out of follicles . A strand of hair grows from only one follicle , not more .People with Asian type hair has a regular oval shaped or slightly curved oval shaped follicle . Thus , most hair grows out thick, smooth , straight or slightly wavy and shiny . Caucasian type hair on the other hand has an irregular oval shaped follicle . Compared to Asian type hair , Caucasian type hair has less density and less melanin production . Therefore , their hair strands grow out fine , light , wavy and slightly course . As for the African type hair , it has a very irregular oval shaped follicle resulting in very fine , very curly , very course and very brittle hair growth . This hair type is sensitive and requires extra care and nurture . A suitable shampoo is needed to clean this type of hair as it is very brittle . For this hair type , 2 in 1 shampoo-conditioners should be best avoided as it is harsh to the hair .
