Tips on hair care part 1

Hi again ! This time , i would like to share a little i know about hair care . Hair is like the crowning glory of all women (well , it is for me of course) and to men . Hair is obviously everyones  pride .Hair is one of life's important assets for both men and women . The hair , also known as the royal crown of the head , plays a big role in our lives . Without no doubt , hair is important for self-esteem and confidence. In this new era of globalization without limitations , pollutants are rapidly clumping up in the air ! This phenomena is dangerous not only for our health , but also our hair.
Hairs of the world

In hot countries like Malaysia , our hair is more prone to dryness and damage when in contact with strong UV rays and air pollutants . Hair dryness can be prevented by oiling the hair at least once a week to add luster and moisturize the hair . Dryness of hair results to dull colored hair . We can also prevent our hair from pollutants by covering our hair with a scarf (but surely most of us think that isn't the best choice) , but don't lose hope just yet ! We can opt to use leave-on hair creams to block our hair from harmful UV rays . This way , our hair would be less brittle due to the harmful effects of hair dryness .

Even though we Asians live in hot countries , believe it or not , our hair has the most density which is helpful in retaining moisture of hair thus preventing severe moisture loss from hair ! There are three types of hair groups which are Asian , Caucasian and African . Most Asians have black to brown hair . Ever wondered why Caucasians rarely have jet black hair like us ? It's because their hair lack melanin production . Melanin pigments in the hair are responsible in determining the color of our hair . As a result , the more the melanin production in a follicle , the darker the color of our hair . Hairs grow out of follicles . A strand of hair grows from only one follicle , not more .People with Asian type hair has a regular oval shaped or slightly curved oval shaped follicle . Thus , most hair grows out thick, smooth , straight or slightly wavy and shiny . Caucasian type hair on the other hand has an irregular oval shaped follicle . Compared to Asian type hair , Caucasian type hair has less density and less melanin production . Therefore , their hair strands grow out fine , light , wavy and slightly course . As for the African type hair , it has a very irregular oval shaped follicle resulting in very fine , very curly , very course and very brittle hair growth . This hair type is sensitive and requires extra care and nurture . A suitable shampoo is needed to clean this type of hair as it is very brittle . For this hair type , 2 in 1 shampoo-conditioners should be best avoided as it is harsh to the hair .
